STILL UNDER THE SAME MOON....

Captured by Pete last night from Gnat's patio during farewell drinks last night. He has such an eye for these things... In any case, the duo are off to Minnesota June 19, where the good doctor has landed a stint at the Mayo Clinic for a year. I know it will fly by and everything, but it hard to imagine that the person I practically began my career with will no longer be around the corner and ready to skip out for a break with me. Nat, incidentally, was also the maid-of-honour at my wedding, which makes it even harder. Ah well... There's always sms, email, Meebo, blog... And in case we need to OD on snow, we could hop on a plane and visit... I mean, how often do you get a reason to go to Minnesota, besides, er, to see the Mall of America.... Hmmm... Either way, it was a fun sendoff, albeit tinged with a bit of reflection. That was one of many goodbyes we have said recently. Ling & Lu left not long ago to set up shop in Irvine, California... Jess and Miikka are doing the San Fran thing... And most of Pete's mates have moved on too - to Hong Kong, New York, Melbourne... Makes us wonder what in the world we're still doing here... Time will tell, we suppose. Art
