BOY WONDER WILLIAMS!

Woo hoo! Pete has just snagged his first award from The Society of News Design for the design and layout for a page he did for The Straits Times!! I am soooooo very proud of him, because it acknowledges the great work that he has done. He's won heaps of internal awards here at ST, but this is the first big international one that he has won at an individual level.. He shares the award with a colleague from the Life section - Andrew Tan... Keeping our fingers crossed that he'll be sent to Boston for this year's SND so he can get the award himself (and I can tag alone from a holiday!)... Can't put a grab of the page up here (tricky because of copyright I guess), but it was about furniture design, and he made it look all Ikea-instructional-booklet-like. It was really really good.... Really. So exciting, I'm married to a world-class designer. Of course, one could argue that he has always been.... But *Swoon* .... Heh. Art.
